A well-established MEP contractor is seeking an ambitious Assistant Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team, delivering projects across financial and commercial sectors throughout London.

Role Overview
Working closely with Senior Project Managers and site teams, you will support the delivery of electrical packages from pre-construction through to completion. The role will involve coordination of site activities, managing subcontractors, reviewing drawings, and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
This position is ideal for a candidate looking to progress into a fully-fledged Project Manager role in the future.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with the delivery of electrical projects across financial and commercial spaces
2. Support Project Managers with programme management and site coordination
3. Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
4. Review and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
5. Monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
6. Assist with procurement, technical queries, and reporting
7. Attend site and client meetings as required
8. Support commissioning and project handover activities
Requirements
9. Experience within commercial electrical projects
10. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
11. Previous experience leading teams or supervising labour on site
12. Strong communication and organisational skills
13. Ambitious and keen to progress within an MEP contractor environment
