The Role This is an exciting opportunity for someone with early sales experience to step into a role with greater responsibility. You’ll manage day-to-day business development activity, strengthen existing customer relationships, and generate new opportunities across a variety of industries. Working with a supportive regional manager and collaborating with internal sales, technical, and procurement teams, you’ll deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs while helping Thorite expand its market presence. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop accounts across your region to achieve sales and profit targets. Identify new business opportunities in pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and compressed air systems. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, including purchasing and engineering teams. Prepare and deliver compelling quotations, proposals, and presentations. Take ownership of your sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion. Collaborate effectively with internal colleagues to deliver exceptional service and technical support. About You Degree-educated (Engineering, Technical, or Business disciplines preferred). Some prior experience in sales or a commercial role, looking for the next step. Confident, professional, and skilled at building relationships. Driven, organised, and results-oriented. Genuine interest in engineering and technical solutions.
