Location: Leading Lives, Lowestoft Community Hub, Rotterdam Road

Team Leader – Lowestoft, Supported Living

£13.10/hr + Enhancements | Employee-Owned Organisation

Are you ready to lead, inspire, and make a real impact? Join Leading Lives, a not-for-profit, employee-owned social enterprise supporting adults with learning disabilities across Suffolk.

The Role

We're looking for a passionate Team Leader to coach and support our Lowestoft Supported Living homes delivering round the clock care. You'll be the vital link between team members and management—driving quality, culture, and consistency.

18.5 hours a week
Sleep-ins: £65/night | Sunday & Bank Holiday Enhancements

Driving Makes a Difference You'll need to be able to drive to support individuals in accessing their local community and enjoying greater independence

Important Requirement (Genuine Occupational Requirement)

This position involves providing personal care in line with the customer's Care and Support Plan. To meet the customer's expressed needs regarding dignity and privacy, a male Team Leader is required for this role under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

What You'll Do

Lead by example and mentor your team

Support rota planning, audits, and care planning
Be the go-to for team members and a voice for our customers
Help shape service delivery and community opportunities

What You'll Need

Level 3 in Social Care (or equivalent)
Strong communication, leadership, and IT skills
Experience in social care and a passion for people

You'll receive a 3-week induction with a dedicated buddy to support you from day one. Start date subject to enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks.
