Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting an Asbestos Operative to join the Environmental team.
Location: Various contracting sites.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 – 5:00, Saturdays as required.
Pay: Dependent on experience.

Role Purpose: To support the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the delivery of asbestos management and removal projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Undertake asbestos removal works in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and safety standards.
* Maintain and utilise plant and materials to ensure safe working practices.
* Understand and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments before commencing work.
* Coordinate with site Supervisor, staff, and clients to ensure work proceeds as planned and meets satisfaction.
* Complete site checks and record appropriately with the Supervisor.
* Perform daily site checks as required.
* Assist Supervisor with TNA analysis on a project basis.
* Participate in wider company objectives.
Skills & Competencies:
* Qualified Licensed Asbestos Operative with successful relevant experience.
* Commitment to first-rate customer service.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
* High standard of written communication for site documentation.
* Honest and reliable.
* Ability to work under challenging time demands as instructed by the Supervisor.
* Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
* Full Driving Licence with towing ability.
