Job summary

The Enhanced Response Service is a fast-paced service providing support to service users who trigger their telecare alarm and also working alongside the ambulance service in responding to non-injured falls. We work to promote independence and sign post service users to Partnership teams to provide care and support in a person-centred way.The post will require flexible working. This will include regular morning, evening and weekend shifts, as well as the ability and willingness to travel across the team geographical area. We respond to falls and telecare alerts to provide reassurance and practical assistance in co-ordination with other services, such as Fire and Rescue and Ambulance. As part of the team you will apply learning from adult protection, diversity and mental capacity act training, you will be responsible for recognising and reporting any situations, incidents or concerns in line with Council Policy. You will be required to liaise effectively within the team and with other agencies e.g. assistive technology or health colleagues, to ensure the service is delivered effectively. You will also be required to complete both written and electronic documentation regarding our service users care in accordance with CCC policy Main duties of the job

You will need to have previous experience of working within a care environment, preferably within Adult social care and you will have an NVQ Level 2 Care qualification or equivalent and a willingness to work towards Level 3.You will be able to evidence good standard of general education including basic literacy and numeracy skills and will have good IT skills in order to be able to update electronic data and case records.The post will require flexible working. This will include regular morning, evening and weekend shifts.
