Based in Yeovil, we are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Manager to take ownership of the Operations Services sales response and play a key role in the business development.
As Commercial Manager, you will work directly with the Managing Director and collaboratively across Sales and Operations. You will lead the development and management of the tender response capability, ensuring a greater share of targeted business is won —while maintaining healthy profit margins.
You will also bear sales responsibility within the Oil & Gas segment, managing key customer relationships and driving new business growth.
Primary Role:
Lead the sales response process for operational services
Build and manage efficient, winning tender processes
Collaborate across teams to ensure delivery aligns with promises and margin targets
Continuously improve processes to support growthSecondary Role:
Manage customer relationships in the Oil & Gas segment
Achieve or exceed sales and profit targets under the framework
Develop new Oil & Gas customer relationships to balance the portfolio
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in commercial operations, sales, or tender management—ideally in a technical environment, process-minded with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and ambitious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
This is a permanent role and comes with some excellent benefits. It is full time and salary will be dependent on experience and expectations.
