We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused
Housing Solutions Officer
to join our team. You will play a key role in preventing homelessness by providing advice, support, and practical solutions to individuals and families in housing need.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored housing advice and support to clients at risk of homelessness.
Assess housing needs and develop personalised housing plans.
Work with landlords, housing providers, and partner agencies to secure accommodation.
Ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation and policies.
Maintain accurate case records and manage a caseload effectively.
Support clients through the homelessness application process where necessary.
About You:
Experience in housing advice, homelessness prevention, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of housing legislation (e.g. Homelessness Reduction Act).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
IT literate with experience using case management systems.
