Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring dance and drama lessons across the age and attainment range at Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student creativity and confidence.
* Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing individualized support where necessary.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the performing arts curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities, including school productions and performances.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECTs (Early Career Teachers) qualifying this year are strongly encouraged to apply.
* Unqualified teachers with relevant experience and a strong commitment to pursuing a teaching career are also welcome.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for dance and drama education.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching.
* Dedication to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Successful completion of a Safer in Education check is mandatory.
