Join us as a Revenue and Support Specialist based in Cambridge. This role supports the operations of a leading long‑distance train operator.
Rate of pay: £37,444 per annum.
Contract: 9‑month fixed‑term, working all days and times CrossCountry runs, including weekends and bank holidays.
Your Time at Work
As a Revenue and Support Specialist you will be responsible for:
* Ticket inspection and completion of travel irregularity reports
* Customer service and conflict management
* Protecting revenue and reducing fare evasion
* Ensuring compliance with ticketing terms and railway byelaws
* Providing a visible presence to deter non‑payment of fares
* Supporting operational resilience during disruption and special events
* Undertaking day‑to‑day line management including rostering, AL etc.

This role is physically demanding; the ideal candidate is physically fit and has excellent customer service skills with relevant experience.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of rail ticketing rules
* Right to work in the UK
* Pass a DBS clearance
* Undergo a medical fitness test
