We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Due Diligence to join Norgine.
This role reports to the Senior Director, Due Diligence and is part of the Corporate & Business Development team.
The main responsibility of the Senior Manager, Due Diligence is to develop review strategies and lead due diligence activities on licensing and acquisition opportunities. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Key duties include establishing due diligence teams, managing review processes, coordinating assessments across scientific, medical, technical, commercial, regulatory, legal, and compliance domains, and ensuring thorough documentation and reporting.
This is a Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) position for 12-18 months.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate due diligence activities, develop assessment strategies, and manage operational requirements.
2. Implement standardized methodologies, tools, and risk assessments for due diligence processes.
3. Ensure comprehensive evaluation of licensing opportunities, covering all relevant domains.
4. Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and professionalism.
5. Act as primary contact with external partners for due diligence activities.
6. Maintain accurate due diligence databases with appropriate access controls.
7. Produce quality reports summarizing findings, risks, mitigations, and recommendations.
8. Coordinate internal integration and implementation plans, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
9. Partner with Business Development for licensing and divestment opportunities, managing data rooms and external interactions.
10. Develop repeatable processes and templates, capturing lessons learned for future opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
* Life Sciences Degree or equivalent.
* Solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry, understanding drug development through to commercialization.
* Experience managing due diligence and asset integration is advantageous.
* Strong project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and managing conflicts.
* Strategic and critical thinking abilities, with effective implementation skills.
