Embrace Care is looking for an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our Ofsted-regulated service in Preston, supporting children, young people, and adults with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and Emotional & Behavioural Needs. You’ll be working in a supportive environment that focuses on providing high-quality care and personal development for the individuals we support.
In this role, you’ll be pivotal in supporting the Care Manager in delivering high-quality care, ensuring the well-being of those we support, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.

Your Role as Deputy Care Manager
* Support the Care Manager in delivering a person-centred care service that focuses on the well-being and development of those we support
* Lead by example, providing direct support and guidance to the team of support workers
* Drive high standards of safeguarding, care planning, and positive behaviour strategies
* Support with the preparation and management of the service for Ofsted inspections
* Collaborate with families, external agencies, and professionals to ensure holistic care and outcomes
* Assist in maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for those we support, helping to develop their independence and life skills
What You’ll Need
* Experience managing or deputising in an Ofsted-regulated care setting for children or young adults
* Experience in delivering person-centred care
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management – Residential Childcare (or equivalent/working towards)
* A passion for personal development and providing high-quality care
* Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to guide and motivate a team
