About The Role
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
* Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management Systems to ensure all processes meet required standards
* Clean, disinfect, and store delicate endoscopy equipment safely and efficiently, validating each stage of the process
* Maintain accurate records of procedures, testing, and equipment maintenance
* Assist with stock management, including ordering specialist decontamination items in line with Trust procurement guidelines
* Wear appropriate PPE and uphold infection control practices at all times
* Work independently while contributing effectively as part of the wider team
