Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to serve a K-12 school community. This contract position is set in Spring Lake, MI, and offers a school year (NSY) assignment focused on supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students to identify learning and behavioral needs
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention plans
* Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
* Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning
* Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state policies
Qualifications:
* Valid Michigan School Psychologist license required
* Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings preferred
* Strong knowledge of best practices in school psychology and special education law
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
* Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment
