Overview
Contracts Manager – Leading Groundworks/ Civils Contractor. A leading Contractor in Essex, specialising in civil engineering, groundworks and infrastructure works. They work alongside house-builders and support a variety of other industries throughout East Anglia and the South East of England. The role involves working across projects in Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk, operating across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
* Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including H&S, on-site operations, programme targets, and RAMS for site-specific operations.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
* Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arise.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in contract management.
* Demonstrate good people management and clear communication with attention to detail.
Qualifications / Skills
* Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
* Proficient in contract management software and tools.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
Salary
The salary on offer for this role is £80k-£90k+ package, depending upon previous experience.
