Position Summary
Connaught Resourcing is partnered with an established provider of specialist nursing services to appoint a permanent Respiratory Nurse Advisor to join their national respiratory team. The roles in question are hybrid positions with no weekend working involved.
The client has an exceptional reputation for providing guideline level care for patients with respiratory conditions in both primary and secondary care across the UK.
Responsibilities
In this role you will carry out patient reviews and conduct specialist clinics, using your in‑depth knowledge to advise and support general practice staff. You will also work in specialist clinics, homes, and from home as part of this hybrid position. The position requires travel across the central belt of Scotland for clinic duties. Clinics may be located up to 1.5 hours from your home address and an overnight stay could be required if travel time would be over 2 hours.
Essential Qualifications
* Registered Adult Nurse with active NMC Pin
* At least 3 years’ experience managing respiratory conditions in a primary care setting
* Currently undertaking COPD and/or asthma reviews on a regular basis in primary care
* Full driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
* Ideally hold either or both COPD/asthma diplomas
* ARTP qualification
* Experience in spirometry
Pay Rates
£39,000 – £42,060 (dependent on qualifications and level of experience)
Hours
Full‑time – five days per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30‑17:30)
Part‑time – three days a week (between Monday to Friday, 8:30‑17:30). The nature of the hybrid working options is at the employer’s discretion.
