Role Accountabilities & Key Duties To be responsible for the design and delivery of individual development plans for Schoolboy goalkeepers. To work collaboratively with all Goalkeeping Coaches to develop detailed individual profiles for Schoolboy goalkeepers. To participate in the Academy’s review process and associated meetings with players & parents/guardians To enter all coaching sessions, fixtures, development reports, and other necessary work as required on the Football Intelligence Platform and other required platforms. To assist with the management of Schoolboy age groups on match day as directed by the Methodology Manager and Schoolboy Lead Phase Coaches. To be available for all internal in-service & CPD events. To report to Lead Goalkeeping Coach (Academy) on a regular basis To attend all coaching meetings and other Academy meetings as necessary To report any welfare concerns on players to the Club Safeguarding Manager To report any injury concerns on players to Medical Staff To be responsible for goalkeeping equipment for the Schoolboy Phase To develop a sound working knowledge of safeguarding children’s regulations, including legislation & governing body rules To undertake personal CPD as appropriate to meet the demands of the role Participate in the appraisal process Comply with all company policies/procedures. Adhere to all company regulations regarding policies, procedures, health, safety and security All other duties that may arise from time to time and fall within the scope of this position About The Candidate Qualifications UEFA B Licence UEFA B Goalkeeping Licence FA Youth Award FA EFAiF Certificate FA Safeguarding Certificate Enhanced DBS Check Skills, Knowledge & Experience Experience of coaching elite players, preferably within the Foundation Phase Hold a valid full UK driver’s licence (desirable) IT skills to include a very high level of competence using Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint skills Good overall level of numeracy and literacy Ability to liaise empathetically and effectively with young players, parents, scouts, coaches and Club senior managers Attitude/Behaviours A professional “can do” attitude with strong organisational and administrative skills A genuine team player Empathy with young people and their challenges Personal Qualities A hardworking and enthusiastic individual Excellent communication skills Takes responsibility for ensuring a high quality of work Demonstrates enthusiasm and is personally committed to achieving agreed objectives Is receptive to feedback about own behaviour, strengths and areas for improvement Displays a high level of confidentiality Meticulous attention to detail Loyal and committed About The Club Not Specified
