Overview
We’re seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract, this role will be based at our Milton Keynes site and will be offered on a hybrid basis.
In this pivotal role you’ll design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across the business. The role will also involve collaboration with stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions are aligned with business needs and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective data visualisations.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting solutions.
* Optimise Power BI performance and implement best practices in data modelling and DAX.
* Provide training and support to users on Power BI usage and self-service capabilities.
* Act as a liaison between IT and business units to ensure reporting solutions meet operational needs.
* Maintain documentation for all reporting solutions and data sources.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, including data governance and security standards.
* Support integration of Power BI with other business applications and data sources.

Education and Experience
* Proven experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
* Strong understanding of data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
* Experience with SQL and relational databases.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and business processes is desirable.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
* Good understanding of data governance and security principles.

* This is a hybrid role based in Milton Keynes, with occasional travel to other UK sites as required.
