In this dynamic position, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. You’ll be at the forefront in identifying gaps and trends, monitoring these accordingly, aiming to detect mules to reduce customer impact.

Essential criteria:
* Ability to extract, analyze, and make decisions on large data sets using SAS, SQL, Python, R, OR Java.
* Experience in Fraud, Financial Crime, Credit Risk, Quantitative, Marketing, Predictive Analytics, OR Decision Science.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the above criteria.
Desirable criteria:
* Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, or related area, or significant relevant experience.
* Knowledge of Fraud or Financial Crime Risk systems and controls and their operating environments.
* Knowledge of money muling risks and associated mitigation techniques and strategies.
Purpose of the role
To use innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank's data reserves, leveraging these insights to inform strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organization.
Accountabilities
* Identification, collection, extraction of data from various sources, including internal and external sources.
* Performing data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure its quality and suitability for analysis.
* Development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
* Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to analyze patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.
* Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science.
