Macrobert Arts Centre (MAC) is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Technical Theatre Assistant to join the technical team.
MAC is a busy regional arts centre and plays a pivotal role in arts and culture in Stirlingshire and across the wider Forth Valley area. The Company operates a full year-round events programme of live theatre, film, visual arts and engagement programmes at the Centre and the Technical Theatre Assistant helps with the successful delivery of that work in our spaces.
The purpose of the role is to assist the technical department by providing technical support to in-house productions, co-productions and visiting companies especially in the areas of sound, lighting, and AV as well as general venue support.
This role will suit a candidate with some backstage experience, whether that experience is professional, voluntary or through training now looking to be venue based and who will enjoy the challenge of working in a busy events environment.
Hours: Full time 35 hrs p/w (including some evening/weekend working, as required and on a rotational basis)
Salary: £25,125 per annum
