Forge Talent is proud to be recruiting a Financial Controller for a leading global manufacturing group that is expanding its European footprint through ongoing acquisition activity. This hybrid role is based from their Cheshire hub.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Financial Controller looking to progress to Finance Director level. A clear succession plan is already in place, with promotion expected within 18–24 months. You will play a key role in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support the group’s continued growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Report directly to the European Finance Director (UK-based).
2. Lead and deliver the consolidated financials across multiple European entities.
3. Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
4. Support a finance transformation programme, including Power BI implementation and integrating acquisitions onto D365.
5. Conduct variance analysis, trend reporting, and scenario modelling.
6. Partner with the SLT and executive team to present insights and recommendations.
