Your responsibilities as Pre-Construction Manager

• Lead and develop estimating and bid teams to deliver high-quality tender submissions
• Oversee the full tender process from enquiry through to submission and award
• Review cost plans, pricing strategies, risk allowances and value engineering opportunities
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and key stakeholders
• Support business development activities and contribute to future pipeline growth
• Drive continuous improvement across pre-construction processes, systems and reporting

What we're looking for in a Pre-Construction Manager

• Previous experience within pre-construction, estimating or commercial construction environments
• Experience managing estimators, bid managers or bid writing teams
• Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and procurement routes including JCT and Design & Build
• Proven commercial awareness with the ability to assess risk, opportunity and project viability
• Ability to manage multiple tender submissions and stakeholder requirements simultaneously
