Your role in the JoJo story… We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager on an interim basis, to lead our management accounts and financial operations teams. This role is key to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial accounts and reporting processes. A peek into your daily adventures Ensure the reliability and accuracy of the general ledger, applying appropriate accounting treatments under UK GAAP and maintaining full balance sheet integrity. Maintain and enhance financial systems and processes to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. Act as the primary finance contact for all system and project changes, ensuring correct financial transactions and compliance with reporting standards. Oversee and assist with preparation for the year end statutory audit. Lead and develop the management accounts team, including training, performance reviews, and ongoing professional development. Oversee the full month-end process, ensuring all cost codes, reconciliations, and financial entries are completed accurately and on time, while providing technical guidance and support to the finance team. Take a hands-on approach to balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are fully substantiated and variances are investigated and resolved promptly. Review management reporting outputs such as budget packs and channel performance packs. Oversea statutory reporting requirements, including submissions to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and deliver longer-term cash forecasting alongside the Head of Finance. Supervise the Accounts Payable and Treasury teams, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and performance management. Prepare hedging policy and plan foreign currency buy Authorise weekly supplier payment runs and manual payments, ensuring all necessary checks and controls are in place. Ad-hoc projects with the wider business. Skills that make you shine: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven post-qualification experience in a finance management role. A self-starter with experience of audit, statutory reporting and management accounts. A strong communicator; confident when engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. Systems awareness (ERP/reporting tools) with a process improvement mindset. Proven experience leading teams, driving motivation and team development. Hands-on and adaptable; thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
