Job Description
In this role, you will achieve the introduction of new equipment, and design and develop software and hardware required for testing aerospace and military products. This work covers all aspects of test development, from software/hardware design based on requirements definition, to integration testing, test process validation, operator training, and liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Participate in developing long-term strategic goals for Electronics Test platforms and applications.
2. Coordinate with Electronics Test management and Project Engineers to support planning, building, and commissioning, ensuring equipment procurement aligns with business needs.
3. Review test requirements and define electrical, electronic, and software systems to meet current and future demands.
4. Fault find on test systems and support resolution of technical issues to meet test requirements.
5. Develop and document policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure controlled development of test platforms and applications.
6. Control hardware design of test systems, working internally and with external suppliers.
7. Develop, integrate, test, and control application test software.
Key Experiences and Qualifications
* Proven software programming skills, including commissioning and validation.
* Strong electronics hardware engineering background, preferably in a test environment working with electronics hardware, instrumentation, and software development.
* Working knowledge of electronics test equipment and instrumentation.
* Understanding of analogue/digital interfacing circuitry and methodologies, including multiplexers and switching.
* Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
