FLT Forklift Driver – Waste Industry – Worcester People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Forklift Driver – Waste Industry to join our well-established client based in Worcester, Worcestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and genuine temp-to-perm opportunities within a specialist waste processing environment. This role would also suit candidates who have previously worked as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, Waste Operative, Recycling Operative, Warehouse Operative, Production Operative, or General Operative. Please note: Due to the remote location of the site, a valid UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport is essential. Shifts • 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern • 06:00am – 18:30pm • 18:00pm – 06:30am • Days and Nights rotation Rates of Pay • £12.79 – £14.07 per hour • Weekly Pay • Overtime Available Benefits As an FLT Driver, you will receive: • Excellent Hourly Rates • Weekly Pay • Ongoing Work Leading to Permanent Opportunities • Overtime Available • Full Training Provided • PPE Provided On-site • Supportive Team Environment • Immediate Starts Available Day-to-Day Duties As an FLT Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Sorting medical, clinical, and pharmaceutical waste for processing • Loading and moving recycling bins around site • Processing waste types in line with site procedures and regulations • Operating an FLT Counterbalance truck safely and efficiently • Organising waste areas and positioning bins correctly • Carrying out manual sorting duties where required • Using PPE correctly and following all health and safety procedures • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment • Completing additional duties as required by site management Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: • A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence • A valid UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport • Good communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Good organisational and time management skills • Reliability and a motivated attitude • The ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment • A flexible approach to work and duties • The ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Experience • Previous experience handling medical, clinical, or pharmaceutical waste would be beneficial • Previous FLT Counterbalance experience within a warehouse or waste environment would be advantageous Training Provided • Full training on company policies and procedures • Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are looking for a long-term opportunity within the waste and recycling industry with excellent earning potential and ongoing work, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
