About the Role:
We're looking for an HR Assistant / Business Support professional to join our small, dynamic team. You'll provide day-to-day administrative and HR support, ensuring smooth operations across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations/policies, learning and development and compliance.
This role requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting both employees and the wider mission of youth support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the full recruitment process: job postings, CV screening, interview coordination
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
* Support onboarding, benefits administration, and policy updates
* Provide front-line support for HR queries and concerns
* Minute-taking during confidential meetings
* Participate in various HR projects and audits
* Assign the Learning and development of Support workers
* Use of Microsoft Word, One Note, and HR software systems
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* 1+ year experience in HR or office administration
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
* Competent with Microsoft Office and HR systems
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable:
* CIPD Level 3 (funding available)
* Knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
* Experience in care, social care, or working with vulnerable groups
