Title: Senior Payroll Administrator
Location: Harlow (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-respected accountancy practice with a strong portfolio of UK clients, is looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their established payroll bureau team based in Harlow.
You’ll be part of a collaborative department responsible for managing a variety of client payrolls across multiple sectors. The role offers a mix of autonomy and teamwork, ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of a busy, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and client service.
The Role
* Processing multiple end-to-end payrolls for a range of clients
* Managing starters, leavers, statutory payments, and pension contributions
* Reviewing payroll data to ensure compliance with HMRC and RTI requirements
* Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients
* Supporting junior team members and assisting with process improvements
* Using payroll software (experience with Star/IPP is highly desirable)
What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in client or bureau payroll processing
* Experience with Star Payroll / IRIS Payroll Professional preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Strong communication and client relationship skills
* A proactive, problem-solving approach with the confidence to work independently
* CIPP qualification (or working towards it) is advantageous
