Established over 30 years ago, we have ambitious growth plans, including investing £2m in 2023 to expand our fleet with 50 new mobile service vans. Our team of experienced hydraulic engineers boasts a success rate of over 99% for first-time on-site repairs. We utilize market-leading technology, including our customer portal for booking and tracking services, with real-time job status updates.
We are looking to recruit additional team members in the Crawley area to support our growth.
A day in the life of a Hydraquip Mobile Engineer:
Your day begins with vehicle safety checks before heading to your first job. You respond promptly to customer breakdown requests, aiming to minimize downtime. Customers can track their job progress via our Hydraquip Job Manager App. On-site, you demonstrate your industry knowledge to find the best solutions, maintaining high service standards. You will liaise with existing customers and identify potential new business opportunities.
You will also:
* Report job progress through the Hydraquip app using your company phone and update customer orders.
* Maintain and stock your van via the Hydraquip app, ensuring it is well-stocked and clean.
* Participate in an on-call rota (usually one week in three), with standby paid work at nights and weekends, compensated with overtime pay. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5:30pm.
Who we are looking for:
We value each team member as a vital contributor and the face of Hydraquip. We seek motivated, passionate individuals aiming to lead the UK’s 24/7 On-Site Mobile Hose Services market.
* Experience in the Hose Replacement Industry is advantageous but not essential; suitable backgrounds include Forklift/Plant fitter, HGV fitter, Agricultural Fitter, or access hire with hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge.
* You must hold a UK Driving Licence for at least 2 years.
* Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
