Keysight is seeking an RF/Microwave Solution Engineer to support Aerospace & Defense customers in pre‑ and post‑sales engagements. The role focuses on applying Keysight RF, microwave, and mmWave instrumentation to address customer measurement challenges across radar, electronic warfare, satellite, and secure communications domains, including UK programs such as GCAP.
Responsibilities
1. Analyze customer technical requirements and map them to appropriate Keysight measurement solutions
2. Configure, demonstrate, and validate RF/MW/mmWave test systems using existing Keysight instruments and software
3. Support pre‑sales activities: technical discussions, demos, evaluations, and proposals
4. Support post‑sales activities: system deployment, measurement verification, and customer enablement
5. Lead customer interactions from a technical engineering perspective
6. Deliver technical workshops, seminars, and system‑level measurement sessions
7. Collaborate with sales, application engineers, and industry solution teams to support A/D programs
Qualifications
8. BSc in Electronics Engineering required; MSc preferred (RF/MW/mmW)
9. Experience with Aerospace & Defense systems and RF measurements (VNA, signal/spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
10. Knowledge of radar, EW, satellite/space communications, and associated test challenges
11. Programming experience (Python, MATLAB, C#, or C/C++) for automation and test workflows
12. Strong technical problem‑solving and customer communication skills
13. UK citizenship required
14. Field‑based role; ability to transport test equipment to customer sites
