Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting teachers in the delivery of educational programmes Assisting with classroom management and student supervision Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties Preparing teaching materials and resources Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant teaching assistant qualification DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working in a classroom setting Experience supporting students with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of classroom dynamics and student behaviour management Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Higher level teaching assistant qualification First aid certification Working Conditions: Work primarily takes place within a school setting May require flexibility in working hours to accommodate school schedules Opportunities for professional development and training All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
