We're on the lookout for someone client facing, creative and organised to join our Business Development (BD) team. This isn't a sales job — no cold calls, no chasing quotas. Instead, you'll help us shape how we connect with our clients: from organising events and creating digital content, to researching trends and pulling together standout pitches. You'll work closely with our BD managers, marketing team and lawyers across the firm, gaining real exposure to high-profile clients and projects.
What you'll do
* Bring sector and practice growth plans to life in a hands-on, practical way.
* Work with BD managers and lawyers to produce compelling pitches, proposals and presentations.
* Create fresh and engaging content for our website, newsletters, campaigns and articles.
* Research markets and competitors, spotting opportunities and building profiles on potential clients.
* Help plan and deliver events and marketing campaigns.
* Keep our databases, case studies and client stories up to date.
* Manage contact lists so we're reaching the right people, with the right messages.
* Become a "super user" of our BD tech
* Share tools, guides and tips with the team.
* Pull together reporting and insights to measure what's working and where to improve.
What you'll bring
* Great writing skills — you can make business copy clear, professional and engaging.
* Commercial awareness — you're curious about how markets and clients tick.
* People skills — you're confident working with a mix of teams and building good relationships.
* Organisation — you're detail-focused and able to juggle multiple priorities.
* Independence — you can take ownership, but you're also a strong collaborator.
* Tech confidence — solid Microsoft Office skills and an interest in learning new platforms.
* Flexibility — happy to travel between our three offices and occasionally support evening events.
Why you'll love it here
* No sales targets — this role is about strategy, creativity and support, not hitting numbers.
* You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of projects, clients and industries.
* You'll be part of a collaborative team where your ideas are welcomed.
* You'll build skills across research, communications, event management and client strategy — all setting you up for a strong career in professional services.
