Primary Care Staff Nurses – Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) Service
Maternity leave post covering Rhynie, Insch and Inverurie Medical Practices –22.5hrs per week.
Fixed days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
Temporary for 11 months, Secondment opportunity. Split post would be considered.

Working in a dynamic team taking forward our primary care improvement agenda ensuring that the population have access to treatment and care in community settings and healthcare premises. If so, this is an exciting opportunity for motivated nurses to work within Primary Care Services across Aberdeenshire.
This post will be based within Central Aberdeenshire based between Rhynie, Insch and Inverurie Medical Practices. Experience in Treatment Room, working within an NHS health care environment or preferably GP practice is essential for the role. Applicants require to be flexible, as at times may be asked to cover in other areas dependent on the needs of the service. All posts will be rostered to meet the needs of the service.
Candidates must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and willing to develop the service, whilst supporting and training our Health Care Support Worker team. Training and development opportunities are available for successful candidates.
Applicants will be expected to have a broad range of Treatment Room clinical skills inclusive of venepuncture, ECG, wound assessment and management and chronic disease monitoring. Excellent knowledge of infection control required.
Post holders must have the ability to work under pressure to deliver safe and effective care. Effective team players with excellent communication skills, IT skills and driving licence are essential for this post due to rural location.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
