Job Summary
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team.
The job will entail operating a large CNC machine and will involve positioning wood product and working with a software package to ensure that processes and parts are correctly fitted.
Whilst previous CNC experience is preferred, this is not essential as training will be given.A strong work ethic, willingness to learn and reliability are essential qualities.
Again, computer literacy is preferred as the successful candidate will be trained to interpret the requirements of the process.
After a trial period working with BC Management Services, the position will become full time with the client.
Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor machinery for fabrication and assembly processes, ensuring efficient production.
* Utilise software processes (with training given).
* Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to best practices in materials handling.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following health and safety regulations.
* Assist in other tasks as required, contributing to the overall production process.
Requirements
* Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
* Experience with fabrication processes.
* Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is advantageous, particularly in materials handling and assembly work.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £12.53-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
