KS2 Teaching Assistant - Full-Time (Blackwood)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Blackwood, Caerphilly. This full-time role is set to start in October, running Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning within a KS2 classroom
* Assist pupils with academic progression, particularly in literacy and numeracy
* Work alongside the class teacher to provide high-quality support and tailored interventions
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
Requirements
* Proven experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
* A valid Enhanced DBS check
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
* A patient, supportive, and proactive approach to working with children
