KS1 Teaching Assistant – Hull Start date: ASAP Are you somebody with experience providing support across KS1 classes that would be interested in an exciting new role for the rest of the academic year, with a view to extension for September onward? Vision for Education are currently seeking an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and work in a highly supportive primary school in Hull. Whilst the school do have a preference for full time to aid with continuity, part time might be workable on a potential job share. Key requirements: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant across Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and 2) A nurturing personality that will help keep children engaged in the classroom The ability to work well in a team The ability to be flexible and offer classroom support in different classes if needed A DBS that is registered to the Update Service (we can help facilitate this if required) Key Responsibilities: Offer general classroom support to teaching staff to help with lesson delivery Provide small group and 1-1 support to KS1 learners Help to create a safe and nurturing environment that keeps children feeling safe and engaged Promote positive behaviour and help with classroom management whilst adhering to the school behaviour policy What we offer Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
