YOUR ROLE
This is a fixed‑term position for maternity cover, for up to 1 year or on return of the postholder. The successful candidate will be required to teach Dance and Drama across key stages 2, 3 and 4. They will be leading aspirational students who are passionate about the subjects, joining a supportive team and working closely with colleagues in other arts subjects.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* An outstanding practitioner with a passion for Drama and Dance
* The ability to teach Drama to GCSE and Dance to GCSE
* A proven track record of excellent achievement across all key stages (this can include initial teacher training)
* A commitment to fresh and exciting methods of delivering the curriculum
* A relentless drive to secure the best possible outcomes for students of all abilities
* Excellent communication and ICT skills
* Flexibility, resilience and a sense of humour
This role is suitable for ECTs.
