Position Summary
We’re hiring in the UK! We are looking for a Research & Development Engineer to join our fast growing team and business in Havant. This role will help support the design, development, testing, deployment and global support of in-house computer storage testing and secure data erasure equipment.
Candidates must have the below requirements:
* Foundation qualification in digital and analogue electronics.
* Experience with Linux systems and command-line tools.
* PC hardware assembly and BIOS configuration.
* Confident skills with soldering (SMT and through-hole).
* Communication and technical writing skills.
* Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills (such as PCB Design).
* Interest in data storage, erasure standards and customer focused support.
* Working well in a team.
* Open minded for all possible solutions and being proactive.
* Working independently, taking initiative and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Travel may be required.
