We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer to cover various customer locations throughout the South Coast.
Job Purpose:
To provide maintenance and service support for industrial refrigeration systems across multiple customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactively perform engineering tasks including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses on various equipment such as Recip, Scroll, Screw compressor packs, including Ammonia, Co2, & HFC/HFO installations.
2. Carry out service and reactive breakdown support during normal hours and support out-of-hours work via standby rota.
3. Support internal and client functions to meet customer and business objectives.
4. Ensure all engineering tasks are supported with appropriate commercial awareness and system compliance.
5. Maintain quality standards for each engineering task, following best practices and legislative guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Proven knowledge of the industrial refrigeration sector and customer expectations.
* Relevant technical certifications, e.g., 2079 Refrigerant Handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.
* Completed recognized training or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
* Solid knowledge of maintenance and service on medium to large industrial systems.
* Experience diagnosing faults in large central plant equipment, including compressors from brands like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom.
