MSK Clinical Team Lead Fracture Clinic

We are excited to announce funding for a new full-time position dedicated to managing the day‑to‑day operations of our fracture clinic at King's Mill Hospital.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and clinic efficiency.
Successful candidates will play a crucial role in triaging referrals from A&E, ensuring timely and accurate patient assessments. Training will be provided for those who need to develop the skills to request imaging, making this an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
* Triaging referrals from A&E.
* Ensuring timely and accurate patient assessments.
* Receiving training to request imaging, if required.

Qualifications
* Degree in Physiotherapy, BSc(Hons) or Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy
* HPC State Registration
* Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
* Membership of a professional special interest group relevant to orthopaedics
* Undertaken the clinical student supervisor's course
Knowledge
* High level of clinical skills and theoretical knowledge within the musculoskeletal speciality and applied physiotherapy techniques
* Familiarity with evidence-based research that underpins orthopaedic care
* Ability to teach in a group setting / knowledge and understanding of group dynamics / ability to pass on knowledge to others
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to provide and receive complex and/or sensitive information
* Supervisory and leadership skillsStrong Leadership skills
* Awareness of local, regional and national healthcare priorities
Experience
* Extensive experience working in MSK out patients
* Experience of clinical supervision of physiotherapy students and junior staff
* Experience of teaching within the speciality
* Evidence of contributing to clinical audit
* Evidence of specialist post graduate courses in manual therapy taught at masters level
Further Training
* Leadership training
* Evidence of continual professional development (CPD) and attendance at postgraduate level courses
