Job Summary
We are recruiting a Building Safety Manager to work out of our Yeovil office. The role supports Abri Group in delivering duties as Principle Accountable Person and Accountable Person for Higher Risk Buildings under the Building Safety Act 2022. The person will act as the primary point of contact for residents, occupiers and accountable persons, managing building safety and fostering openness, trust and collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Ensure high‑risk and complex buildings are compliant with legislation and are maintained safely.
* Manage building safety cases and produce onward reports for the Building Safety Regulator.
* Maintain communication with residents, occupiers and stakeholders to promote safety and engagement.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable knowledge of current building and fire safety legislation and guidance.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong awareness of building safety and resident engagement.
* A track record of building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
