Job Description
We're recruiting for a Residential Conveyancer OR Paralegal on behalf of our client in Greater Manchester, to be based in their Stockport office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience who is looking to progress their career. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team and will manage your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, with the support of a dedicated conveyancing assistant.
A formal qualification isn’t essential, it would be a nice-to-have. The key requirement is solid experience handling a broad range of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish including sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, transfers, remortgages.
Key responsibilities
* Handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including shared ownership transactions, new builds, transfers of equity, adverse possession, transfers of part, and remortgages.
* Manage files independently from initial instruction through to completion.
* Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, developers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth process throughout.
About you
* Previous experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
* A solid understanding of residential conveyancing processes and procedures.
* Experience using case management systems, ideally P4W.
