Business Development Manager – Utilities Sector
Location: Office-based with regular UK travel (approx. 2 days per week)

Talent Link Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a rapidly expanding company in the managed services and utilities sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated sales professional to take ownership of their territory and play a key role in driving business growth.
You’ll be office-based with regular travel to meet clients and attend on-site visits—typically around two days per week or as required. With a growing client base and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, this role offers the chance to contribute to high-profile utility contracts and help shape the company’s continued expansion.Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities through a mix of provided leads and self-sourced prospects
* Conduct client meetings and on-site visits to secure new contracts
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
* Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations
* Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently achieve monthly revenue targets
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a driven, results-oriented professional with a strategic approach to business development and a consultative sales style. You should have a natural ability to build rapport, earn trust, and manage client relationships end-to-end.
* Proven track record in B2B sales within the utilities or related sectors
* Strong ability to close deals through face-to-face engagement
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and deal closing
* Strategic thinking with the ability to build lasting partnerships
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing your own schedule
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel

What You’ll Get:
Competitive base salary up to £40,000 Uncapped commission with OTE up to £70,000+
