Learning Support Mentor
We’re seeking a Learning Support Mentor to join a dedicated team in a high-needs SEND school in Liverpool. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with pupils aged 3–19 who present a wide range of needs—including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning profiles.
This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Providing consistent, compassionate 1:1 and small group support
* Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour strategies, and personalised learning
* Using tools like PECs, Makaton, sensory resources, and structured routines
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic progress
* Adapting activities and environments to meet diverse sensory and communication needs
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in SEND or youth support is ideal—but heart, resilience, and adaptability are essential
* A calm, nurturing presence with strong boundaries and a sense of humour
* Confidence working with high-needs pupils, including those with challenging behaviour
* A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous learning
