Job Description
The core duties for the Trade Support Analyst include:
1. Reconciliation of cash and securities positions, resolving breaks identified
2. Assisting with the trade lifecycle and resolving issues with trade settlement and matching
3. Improving workflow around maintenance of the fund's investment book of records
4. Contributing to improvements in the control environment
5. Responding to operational queries from key stakeholders such as investment management, sales, and compliance
6. Addressing ad hoc inquiries from custodians and administrators
7. Assisting with rebate, commission, and distribution fee calculations and payments
The Successful Applicant
Key requirements for the Trade Support Analyst include:
1. Being a self-starter capable of working closely within a small Middle Office team
2. Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to process improvement
3. Knowledge of the trade investment lifecycle
4. Experience with Equity, Unit Trusts, ETFs, FX, Sovereign Bonds
5. Experience with other instruments is advantageous
