Temporary Finance Assistant required to join a charity based in Dorset that is looking for support to cover sickness for a period of 6 months. I am on the hunt for a detail-driven Finance Assistant to support the Chief Finance Officer and wider Finance team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a hybrid role after training, combining home working with time at the Head Office in West Dorset.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
* Monitoring and reporting on income and expenditure
* Preparing working papers and spreadsheets for income tracking
* Helping with year-end schedules and volunteer branch accounts
* Collaborating with the finance team and pitching in where needed
What You'll Need:
1. Strong Excel & Microsoft Office skills
2. Experience using accounting software
3. Confident with management accounts, budgets & forecasts
4. Skilled in bank, debtor & creditor reconciliations
5. AAT qualified (or equivalent experience)
6. Analytical, accurate, and methodical
7. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
