The Role Supporting the Head of Science in the leadership and day-to-day running of the department Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on specialism and experience Supporting curriculum development, assessment, and quality assurance Mentoring and supporting colleagues, including ECTs where appropriate Helping to drive consistently high standards of teaching and learning Contributing to departmental planning and whole-school improvement initiatives The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A degree in a Science-related subject Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Experience supporting colleagues or taking on additional responsibility Strong subject knowledge and high expectations for pupil progress A collaborative, organised, and supportive leadership approach School Information This secondary school in Ely is known for its supportive leadership team, positive staff culture, and commitment to professional development.
