Develop and manage support products for General and Vocational qualifications Own strategy for priority qualifications to drive commercial growth Ensure support is targeted, competitive, and meets customer needs Enable teachers to confidently understand and deliver OCR qualifications Apply product management tools and educational expertise Use agile methods and research to iterate and validate support propositions Monitor trends to keep support relevant and strategically aligned About you
In this role, you will need: Considerable leadership experience, in product or educational settings with expertise of driving strategy and delivering success Thorough knowledge of the UK Education system, in commercial, publishing or teaching contexts Experience of product management and/or product development of resources for education (possibly in a digital publishing or teaching context) Experience of strategy planning and implementation Strong market research, analysis, and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrable track record in investigating and understanding customer needs Strong organisational skills to plan and manage a range of complex tasks, functions and schedules, within budget requirements The ability to build and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders of all levels of seniority Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and influencing skills The capacity to balance, prioritise, and manage a varied and demanding workload, working independently and as part of a team If you would like to know more about this opportunity and what will make you successful, please see the full job description attached to the bottom of this vacancy on our careers site.
