The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mobile Tower Crane Operator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality lifting operations across a variety of sites nationwide.
Your focus will always be clear: safety first, every time.
You’ll be responsible for:
12. Operating cranes in line with manufacturer instructions and company standards
13. Ensuring full compliance with road traffic regulations
14. Setting up safely, including correct use of outriggers on level ground
15. Checking and operating rated capacity limiters and indicators
16. Carrying out safe manual handling practices (e.g. outrigger pans)
17. Liaising with Site and Project Managers on arrival
18. Assessing site conditions, including wind and environmental factors
19. Stopping operations where safety is at risk—no compromises
20. Safely accessing and exiting equipment
21. Maintaining knowledge of crane documentation, duty charts, and procedures
22. Continuously developing your skills across different crane models
About You
You’re a skilled operator who takes safety seriously and professionalism personally.
You’ll bring:
23. A full UK driving licence
24. HGV Class C licence
25. In-date Blue CPCS card with Mobile Tower Crane authorisation
26. Proven experience operating mobile tower cranes
27. Strong understanding of road traffic regulations
28. Knowledge of how weather conditions impact lifting operations
