Vehicle Technician Needed at Family-Run Independent Car Dealer in Bury
1. Location: Bury
2. Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9am–5pm (Occasional Saturday as overtime)
3. Salary: £36,000 - £40,000
Our client, a well-established family-run independent car dealership in Bury, is looking for a skilled Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a business that values its staff and provides a supportive environment. The role will primarily focus on PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) work, ensuring vehicles are ready for delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
4. Carry out PDI work on vehicles to ensure they meet company and manufacturer standards
5. Conduct general maintenance and repairs as require
6. Ensure all vehicles are thoroughly inspected and prepared for customer delivery
7. Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
8. Communicate effectively with team members and management
9. Work flexible hours as required, with occasional Saturday shifts available as overtime
The Ideal Vehicle Technician:
10. Strong experience as a Technician, with a focus on PDI work
11. Relevant qualifications and certifications in vehicle maintenance and repair
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
13. Full UK driving licence
