We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team for an exciting new role in Ipswich. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to cover a single site, playing a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the facility while delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
1. Reception duties and patrols
2. To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation
3. A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character
4. Perform gatehouse duties, ensuring smooth vehicle entry and exit processes while maintaining strict control measures.
5. Accurately record vehicle details, update paperwork, and ensure compliance with client requirements and company protocols.
6. Regularly inspect the site's premises, monitoring access points and conducting security checks as necessary.
7. Respond promptly to any incidents, emergencies, or alarms, following established procedures and providing necessary assistance.
8. Adhere to all security protocols and company policies, fostering a safe and secure environment for all occupants.
9. Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors, clients, and employees with inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
10. A valid SIA license (Security Industry Authority) is mandatory. Applicants without an SIA license will not be considered.
11. Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately handle paperwork and update systems.
12. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, visitors, and clients.
13. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, making sound judgments and quick decisions.
14. Flexibility to adapt to changing security requirements and work collaboratively with the team.
15. Full training will be provided for the specific site and duties.
16. Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year an advantage
