Location: Streethouse, Wakefield
Salary:£38,000 - £42,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a residential service that supports adults with learning disabilities, autism, and trauma to live fulfilled, meaningful lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Lead from the front: Be hands-on in daily delivery while coaching your team to thrive
* Champion inclusion: Co-produce support plans and create empowering environments
* Grow great people: Mentor Team Leaders and build strong leadership pipelines
* Build brilliant teams: Recruit, retain, and develop staff who live our values
* Stay accountable: Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards
* Lead with values: Embed trauma-informed, inclusive, and responsive practices
* Promote community: Drive meaningful engagement and participation


Key Responsibilities

* Operational leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement
* Team development, coaching, and culture-building
* Safeguarding, recovery, and therapeutic support
* Governance, financial oversight, and health & safety
* Partnership working with families, professionals, and external agencies


What You’ll Bring

* Organised, proactive, and values-driven mindset
* Proven leadership in health or social care (supervisory, deputy, or management level)
* Level 4 Health & Social Care (minimum), with commitment to achieving Level 5
* Track record of delivering high-quality, person-centred services
* Compassionate, heart-first leadership
* Resilience and adaptability under pressure


Additional Requirements

* Full UK driving licence and mobility across services
